2. The service

Proxy-On is a free tool that (1) tests whether a web address is reachable from your connection and from our server, and (2) can relay the viewing of web pages through our server (a “web proxy”). Proxy-On is not a VPN: only the pages opened through a Proxy-On address are relayed; the rest of your connection is neither relayed nor encrypted by us. By using the site you accept these terms.

3. Permitted use

Proxy-On is meant for viewing lawful content: information, news, documentation, sites that are unreachable because of a technical problem or network filtering. You alone are responsible for your use and for complying with the laws that apply to you (country of residence, your employer's or school's network).

4. Prohibited use

You must not use Proxy-On to:

Adult content, piracy sites, streaming video, file downloads and form submissions are blocked. We may block any site or visitor, without notice, in case of abuse or a report.

5. Security and privacy

6. Content of relayed sites

Relayed pages belong to their publishers; Proxy-On passes them on unchanged, except for the technical adjustments required (rewritten links, Proxy-On bar). We are not responsible for their content. To report abuse, use the “Report” button in the bar or the Contact page.

7. No warranty

The service is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. Analysis results are indicative: a site may be reachable or blocked for reasons the analysis does not detect. Many sites (video, social networks, apps) do not work through a web proxy. Usage limits apply.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Proxy-On is not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from use of the service or of relayed sites. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or removes mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.

9. Personal data and cookies

See the privacy policy and the cookie policy.

10. Changes and governing law

We may change these terms; the version in force is the one published on this page. Subject to mandatory consumer rights, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, and the courts of Wyoming have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of your country of residence.
