Site blocked? Test it, then open it.

Paste an address: Proxy-On checks whether the site is blocked for you and, if so, gives you a free connection address. Nothing to install.

How it works

1Two tests

Your browser tries to open the site, and so does our server. Comparing both tells us whether the block comes from your connection.

2Connection address

If the site is blocked for you, Proxy-On gives you an address that goes through its server. Copy it or click “Connect”.

3Relayed browsing

The site opens normally. Every link you follow stays relayed, and a small bar reminds you that you are going through Proxy-On.

What Proxy-On does… and doesn’t

✅ Works well

  • Articles, news, blogs, encyclopedias
  • Information and documentation sites
  • Searching simple sites
  • Hiding your IP address from the site you visit

⛔ Does not work

  • Streaming video and music (YouTube, Netflix…)
  • Logging into accounts, payments, submitting forms
  • Highly dynamic apps and social networks
  • Downloads, adult or pirated content

FAQ

Is this a real VPN?

No. A VPN encrypts your whole device’s connection and needs an app. Proxy-On is a web proxy: it only relays the pages you open through its address, right in your browser.

Is it free?

Yes, with no sign-up. Usage limits protect the service against abuse.

Is my data safe?

Proxy-On sends no cookies to the sites and creates no account. Never enter a password or bank details on a relayed page: submitting forms is disabled anyway.

Why does a site stay blocked?

If the site also blocks our server’s country, or protects itself against robots, a web proxy is not enough. The analysis tells you so.
